24 July 2008 MAHLE Clevite Enjoys Nearly Unanimous Participation, Race Wins and Positive Response From NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race Teams To Decal Transition Ann Arbor, Michigan, July 22, 2008 – MAHLE Clevite announced earlier this year that the company would transition to the MAHLE white decal from its legendary blue Clevite decal throughout all of NASCAR®. At nearly the halfway point of the change, 52 of the 55 teams that have entered a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event in 2008 have displayed the MAHLE decal.

4 June 2008 Winners of 2008 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown from Pro Motor Engines Score Stunning 15:59 Minutes Engine Build! MOORESVILLE, NC – June 2, 2008 –Dennis Borem and Darrell Hoffman of Pro Motor Engines wasted no time as they racked up a stunning 15 minutes and 59 seconds build to win the 2008 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown on May 20. They came away with the Randy Dorton Memorial Trophy and a cash prize of $26,000, as well as bragging rights for another year – they are winners two years in a row now having taken last year’s top prize with a 16:25 build.

20 February 2008 MAHLE Clevite Celebrates 1st NASCAR Win With New Decal At 2008 Daytona 500 When Ryan Newman took the checkered flag at the 2008 Daytona 500, it was also a milestone event for MAHLE Clevite Inc. It marked the first time the company’s new MAHLE white decal entered Victory Lane in NASCAR competition. 10 August 2007 Two NASCAR Technical Institute Students Win a Jeff Gordon Racing School Package During the MAHLE Clevite Engine Builder Showdown James McMahen and Joshua McMillan won a special contest for NASCAR Technical Institute (NTI) students attending the eighth annual MAHLE Clevite Engine Builder Showdown. McMahen and McMillan each won a Jeff Gordon Racing School package valued at $399 each.

23 May 2007 Exciting Finish for 2007 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown: Pro Motor Engines Team Sets Another Record – Wins Championship Dennis Borem and Darrell Hoffman of Pro Motor Engines walked away with the top prize at the 2007 MAHLE Clevite Engine Builder Showdown — the Randy Dorton Memorial Trophy and a cash prize of $26,000. Kevin Webber and Scott Vester of Hendrick Motorsports received $9,000 in their runner-up effort. The 2007 MAHLE Clevite Engine Builder Showdown at NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC wrapped up four grueling rounds with the Championship on May 23 in front of nearly 1,500 screaming fans.

11 July 2005 Clevite Nitro Club Members Rise to the Challenge for the First Half of the 2005 Season The members of the Clevite Nitro Club saw two challenges at the start of 2005 — win races and manage the higher compression levels that followed last year’s mid-season 85% nitro rule. While the first challenge didn’t take long to achieve, the second was finally proved at Englishtown.

3 June 2005 "Thunder from Down Under" Steals the Show in Topeka This past weekend of racing at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas was full of surprises, but the biggest by far was David “Aussie Dave” Grubnic becoming the first driver ever from outside North America to win an NHRA national event.
