Announces Renewed Commitment to NASCAR and Grass Roots Racing Ann Arbor, Michigan, January 10, 2011 - MAHLE Clevite Inc. announced plans to continue its long-running and highly successful NASCAR® sponsorship, including the Engine Builder of the Year award, as well as continued devotion to the thousands of NASCAR grass roots racers around the country. The three-year agreement includes both the NASCAR national series as well as the NASCAR regional and local grassroots series.

19 May 2009 10th Annual MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown Ends in Dramatic Fashion with Third Straight Championship for Pro Motor Engines Dennis Borem and Darrell Hoffman from Pro Motor Engines made history Wednesday, capturing their record third straight MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown in the closest finish in the 10-year history of the competition.

26 September 2008 2008 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown to Premiere on SPEED Channel’s “Two Guys Garage”; Sunday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m. (EST) Ann Arbor, Michigan, September 25, 2008 – The 2008 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown, recently held at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C., will be featured in an upcoming episode of “Two Guys Garage,” on SPEED, a cable station dedicated to motorsports. The episode covers the Showdown in the final stages of the competition, and will premiere on Sunday, September 28, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. (EST).

24 July 2008 MAHLE Clevite Enjoys Nearly Unanimous Participation, Race Wins and Positive Response From NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race Teams To Decal Transition Ann Arbor, Michigan, July 22, 2008 – MAHLE Clevite announced earlier this year that the company would transition to the MAHLE white decal from its legendary blue Clevite decal throughout all of NASCAR®. At nearly the halfway point of the change, 52 of the 55 teams that have entered a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event in 2008 have displayed the MAHLE decal.

MOORESVILLE, NC – June 2, 2008 –Dennis Borem and Darrell Hoffman of Pro Motor Engines wasted no time as they racked up a stunning 15 minutes and 59 seconds build to win the 2008 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown on May 20. They came away with the Randy Dorton Memorial Trophy and a cash prize of $26,000, as well as bragging rights for another year – they are winners two years in a row now having taken last year’s top prize with a 16:25 build.

16 April 2008 MAHLE Clevite Expands Grassroots Racing Outreach With Sponsorship of NASCAR Corona Series Ann Arbor, Michigan, April 15, 2008 – To further expands its reach into grassroots racing, MAHLE Clevite has announced its sponsorship of the NASCAR Corona Series. 20 February 2008 MAHLE Clevite Celebrates 1st NASCAR Win With New Decal At 2008 Daytona 500 When Ryan Newman took the checkered flag at the 2008 Daytona 500, it was also a milestone event for MAHLE Clevite Inc. It marked the first time the company’s new MAHLE white decal entered Victory Lane in NASCAR competition. The company announced earlier this year that the MAHLE decal would take the place of the legendary Clevite blue decal throughout all NASCAR competitions.
